Miscellanea
Some time ago someone commented on my Facebook page “Does he only paint waves?!” The truth is, I’ll paint just about anything, and over the years I probably have done. Unfortunately I have to keep an eye on what’s likely to sell, how quickly, and how much for. There’s no doubt about it, I enjoy painting fantasy themes –
I enjoy painting mountains just as much, if not more, than the sea – but then I don’t exactly live in a mountainous region, down here on the south coast of England, and my chances of selling them are slim.
This one is Lago del Predil, a lake near Cave del Predil, part of the Tarvisio municipality in the Province of Udine, in the Italian region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia. I went there about ten years ago – I couldn’t resist! Despite what I said – this one did sell.

12″ x 16″ Oils on Canvas
The only painting I’ve ever had stolen (other than online – obviously :-D). It was being shipped home after my exhibition in Barbados. I saw it go in the crate with the others but left the freight handlers before the lid was secured. Opened the box, here in Blighty, and there it wasn’t!
