ART FOR SALE
Working as I do in the UK I generally paint in Acrylics during the winter as they dry faster and I can work uninterupted. Oils however can take forever to dry, consequently I work in this, my favourite medium, during the summer months. The following three paintings are from this last year.
All have a simple white frame which, whilst attractive enough just as it is, makes an ideal ‘inner moulding’ for a more ornate outer frame.
48cm x 47c (approx)
Oil on canvas – mounted on a panel. Rubbish photo this, which is a shame as it’s my favourite of the three oils I’ve completed this summer.

What’s the difference between Wittering waves and those in the Mediterranean? The deep step primarily brought about by the low Mediterranean tidal range – you know the one, it makes it impossible to get out of the sea looking cool. In the Witterings the wave breaks on the gently sloping beach, rolls on, breaks again, and again, as it makes it’s way up the beach gradually losing power. In the Med the same sea state will result in the wave hitting the step and stopping dead. The foam races onward but the wave has stopped.
